In the viral parody video on Instagram, Gaten Matarazzo and his co-star Sean Giambrone announced their film's release date through dramatic shouting, replicating Timothée Chalamet's theatrical promotional style for Marty Supreme. After Matarazzo's outdoors bit, the camera began to execute a slow-motion backtrack, which duplicated Chalamet's distinctive promotional delivery method. The video purposely amplified the extreme shouting and forceful speech pattern, directly resembling Chalamet's December 22, 2025, promo video.
"Marty Supreme is an American film that comes out on Christmas Day 2025!” Chalamet yelled from the outside at the camera, while Matarazzo did the same thing while mentioning Pizza Movie comes out on April 3, 2026.
The real spoof however, was what came next.
“By the way, we want to be clear that we love the ballet and we love the opera!” Matarazzo said in the video as a post-script after the Pizza Movie graphic took over the screen.
Adding more goofy hype, Matarazzo and Giambrone kept cheering while a wide-angle shot revealed the costars out in a park, standing atop a picnic table in a park. While the promo video was made in good humor, the internet quickly picked up on the joke and aligned it with Marty Supreme. Matarazzo's upcoming movie, though having a small budget, has earned great anticipation, bolstered by such entertaining promotional content.
Apart from the promotional video that earned much hype thanks to its Timothée Chalamet's call-out, the movie in itself is enriched with contents of delight.
