As the daytime TV landscape continues to shift, NBC has announced the fate of a number of programming, including a new comedy, a Law & Order spinoff, and many syndicated shows. With the 2025–2026 broadcast season ending soon, NBC has confirmed the cancellation of a number of popular television series, including both new shows and long-standing favorites. Viewers might be shocked by some of the names on the list.
Therefore, one ought to prepare to say goodbye to some of the beloved shows that have now reached the end of the road. Here are all the NBC titles being snuffed out in 2026.
Brilliant Minds

Brilliant Minds, which starred Zachary Quinto as Dr. Oliver Wolf, centers on Dr. Oliver Wolf, a neurologist who deals with challenging medical problems while juggling personal and professional obligations. The show’s neurological concepts were heavily influenced by Dr. Oliver Sacks' books, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and An Anthropologist on Mars. Despite receiving critical notice, it consistently ranked at the bottom of NBC's ratings, with the steepest year-to-year double-digit drops, according to a Deadline report. As a result, Brilliant Minds' second season becomes its final one.
While Brilliant Minds suffered a cruel fate after two seasons, there are those who got the shaft after just their first season.
Stumble
After just one season, the mockumentary Stumble, which focused on the cheerleading industry, was also canceled. Even with a gifted ensemble that included Kristin Chenoweth, Jenn Lyon, Taran Killam, Jarrett Austin Brown, Anissa Borrego, and Arianna Davis, the 13-episode-long season was unable to build a large enough audience to earn a second run. Despite having a devoted niche audience and receiving positive reviews from critics, Stumble's poor linear viewership and inability to compete with established NBC programs resulted in its cancellation after just one season.
Anyhow, the cancellation of a new show like Stumble does not raise an alarm as big as when it is from an established universe.
Law & Order: Organized Crime
After five seasons, Law & Order: Organized Crime, the spinoff series, was axed, signaling a dwindling interest in the long-standing legacy of the Law & Order franchise. The show, which saw actor Christopher Meloni reprise his role as Detective Elliott Stabler, who returns to work in New York City's Organized Crime bureau, met an abrupt ending after its five-season run. After getting the news, Meloni wrote a heartfelt farewell to his followers, expressing gratitude for their support over almost twenty years.
Talking about an enduring legacy, there are others just like it that are now put to rest after a long run.
Access Hollywood and Access Daily
After airing for over 30 years, Access Hollywood was canceled, as reported in March 2026. The show debuted way back in 1996 and has been a mainstay of television for three decades. The show gave viewers entertainment news, interviews, and insider knowledge of the entertainment industry for almost thirty years. Hosts, including Mario Lopez and Zuri Hall, have reflected on the show's legacy and the effect it has had on viewers as a result of its discontinuation. According to Billboard, Access Hollywood's companion series, Access Daily, was also canceled.
Next on the list is a talk show all about giving authentic and insightful advice to its guests.
Karamo
There will be no fifth season of Karamo, the chat show hosted by Queer Eye star Karamo Brown. A few months after Queer Eye's tenth and last season appeared on Netflix, Karamo was added to the list of casualties in the realm of daytime TV. Brown conveyed his appreciation for the chance to interact with viewers throughout the years as the program aided in more extensive conversations on significant societal issues.
Another talk show that dealt with several important societal issues, raising awareness, has now dropped its curtain for the final time.
The Steve Wilkos Show
After 19 successful seasons, The Steve Wilkos Show, which had been on the air since 2007, has now come to an end. Over the years, it has amassed a sizable viewership as one of the longest-running daytime talk shows. The Steve Wilkos Show was the second-longest-running daytime talk show in production, according to Variety.
The network noted that local stations are increasingly giving priority to community programming, local and national news, and off-network franchises that better match viewer demand, citing audience fragmentation and market dynamics as important drivers for the decision.
In the string of talk show cancellations, a very famous title with a huge fanbase makes its entry.
The Kelly Clarkson Show
The Kelly Clarkson Show will conclude after the next season. After seven seasons, Kelly Clarkson announced in February 2026 that she would be ending her famous chat show. In an emotional statement, Clarkson expressed her gratitude for the devoted teams she collaborated with and the avid viewers who supported the series while acknowledging the amazing experiences she had while presenting the show. Clarkson clarified that taking a step back will enable her to give family obligations top priority.
This choice is in line with a growing trend among performers who want to strike a balance between their personal and professional lives.
