Jennifer Aniston proved how Courteney Cox was indeed Monica Geller from Friends in real life by citing a perfect example.

‘Friends’ Jennifer Aniston Proves How Courtney Cox Brought This One Peculiar Monica Geller Quality to Real Life

Among the shows where characters and actors look strikingly alike, NBC’s Friends
stands out. The actors and their characters are so accurately chosen that it
makes the entire narrative even more relatable to the audience. For instance,
Matthew Perry, as he often admitted and proved, is so much like his on-screen
character, Chandler Bing. Even Jennifer Aniston is, in many ways, like her
character, Rachel Green. And everyone knows how Courteney Cox is certainly
Monica Geller in reality as well.

Giving her approval as well, Aniston shared another instance to prove Cox’s
extreme closeness to her character.

JENNIFER ANISTON PROVED HOW COURTENEY COX IS CERTAINLY MONICA GELLER

The Scream actress channeled her inner Monica and established a company,
Homecourt, to help keep people’s homes not only clean but Monica-Clean!
Recently, while talking about her dreams and company to Marie Claire, the
American actress talked about her passion for interior design. In connection to
her passion, Marie Claire noted Aniston’s comment

on how Cox was Monica, both on and off-screen. The Cake actress shared how if a
painting will be hanging just an inch lower than it was supposed to be, Cox
would “see it and obsess on it.”

Throughout the ’90s sitcom, Monica was seen obsessing over cleanliness and being
perfect all the time. Is Courteney Cox just like her character in real life?
Well, her best friend, Jennifer Aniston, just answered the question. In this
same interview, Cox also revealed how she became an expert host, which again, is
also a very Monica thing. During her conversation with Architectural Design in
2022 as well, she proved how closely she resembled her Friends character.

Playing the character for 10 years makes anyone become one with it. However, in
Cox’s case, it enhanced her true self, as she often puts it out there for her
fans to see. And her Instagram handle is a testament to her always flaunting her
fan-favorite character.

THE SCREAM ACTRESS SCREAMS HER MONICA GELLER PERSONALITY LOUDLY AND CREATIVELY

It is a lot of fun for fans to see their favorite actors donning their globally
loved character traits in their real lives as well. Therefore, fans cannot stop
loving her even more whenever the now 59-year-old actress showcases herself as
the Friends character on her Instagram posts. Once, the Shining Vale actress
recreated a hilarious moment from the show about a messy closet in her apartment

Monica had a secret closet where she kept her belongings haphazardly. When
Chandler found out, she felt embarrassed. The actress recreated this hilariously
memorable moment and took fans down memory lane. Once the portrayal of the
character was at its peak when Cox cleaned her Hollywood Walk of Fame Star.
Seems like Cox left the show but could not leave Monica.
