Met Gala has just hiked their price for this years invite with a big number

Following the Kardashians Snub, Met Gala 2023 Tickets Whopping $20,000 Price Hike Could See Many Skipping the Grand Event, Fans Left Astonished

With the demand and glamour, Met Gala has just got more exclusive. The most
fashionable night of the year has been seeing more and more people attending
every year. Every year celebrities come in well-dressed looks, including big
names like Met Gala Queen Blake Lively, Kardashians, and even Beyonce. But this
year might be a bit different from the previous ones.

Being invited to the Met Gala was never an effortless task. But according to
Page Six,
[https://pagesix.com/2023/04/14/insiders-balk-at-met-galas-50k-per-person-ticket-prices/]
the ticket prices have been increased from $30,000 to $50,000. In addition, the
theme for this year is designed very specifically. Previous years saw themes
like Camp, Heavenly Bodies, Punk, etc. But this year’s theme is literally ‘Karl
Lagerfeld: A line of beauty‘. Not all designers are happy with it, although Met
Gala knows both fans and designers will hop on to participate.

The whopping $20,000 prince hike may not be very expensive for A-list
celebrities, but it will certainly affect the majority of guests. Although that
could mean Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, will have to deal with
fashionistas that she does not necessarily approve of. The hike comes after the
Kardashians were snubbed from the event

by getting no invite.

Now the news of its new price hike has reached the internet. Fans are left
shocked and with mixed reactions.

TWITTERATI REACT TO THE MET GALA PRICE HIKE

Met Gala demands attention from all sorts of fans from around the world. But
this time it has demanded the attention of fans for its big price hike. One fan
joked about how social media influencers cannot attend anymore since it’s
expensive. This includes YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

> This is good. Those influencers won't be able to afford it and we only get to
> see A List celebrities there… Thank God

Then there were some taking a dig at celebrities like Nicki Minaj, stating she
will not be able to afford to attend the event. There were unconfirmed reports
of the ‘Anaconda’ singer suffering from debt.

One was happy to know that at least the Kardashians were not invited. It also
comes relief for fans who only want to see A-List celebrities coming up with
their best dresses. Designers who invite the celebrity pay for them at their
booked tables, and if not, the entity has to pay for themselves. With the
Kardashians, Kanye West out, and Blake Lively being a new mother, it will be
seen how the event turns up.
