With Deadpool & Wolverine pulling up to the theater in about three months from now, the world of mercs and claws will bring forth the most anticipated and first-ever R-rated release of Marvel Studios’ film slate. Although a typical Deadpool movie heralds the tag, with the teasers coming affront from CinemaCon along with Kevin Feige’s f-bombs, Ryan Reynolds, who serves as the lead for the film alongside Hugh Jackman, has given another reason why the movie’s switch is necessary.

Taking to his Instagram, the Deadpool actor revealed a new series of collectibles to initiate a spirited prelude to the movie premiere.

With Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman leading the cast in Deadpool & Wolverine, audiences are already anticipating double trouble when the film hits theaters. Given Deadpool's trademark R-rated humor, colorful language, and penchant for breaking the fourth wall, there are further expectations of a barrage of quips and one-liners. Finally, to enhance the theatrical experience, Ryan Reynolds recently took to Instagram to announce a collaboration between Deadpool & Wolverine and Aviation American Gin, resulting in six limited edition custom gin bottles.

These bottles, soon to hit the market, promise to set the stage for a boozy precap to the movie. Notably, this partnership marks Aviation American Gin's debut in the realm of collectible bottles, likely coinciding with the film's release. Crafted by Maximum Effort and Sandstrom Partners, the black glass bottles feature red strip stamps topped with metallic accents, while each label showcases a distinctive Deadpool icon. While only the Deadpool label has been unveiled, thus far, the others are potentially set to be revealed upon the bottles' release.

Since Ryan Reynolds has been ensuring that Deadpool & Wolverine abides by its R-rated tag by delivery and essence, it makes one naturally reminiscent of Kevin Feige’s CinemaCon f-bombs.

Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, joined the ranks of attendees at the recent CinemaCon during Disney's presentation. While this event has traditionally catered to audiences of all ages, this year saw an exception with the inclusion of Deadpool & Wolverine's PSA, set to kick off the cinematic festivities in theaters accompanied by Feige's candid introduction peppered with a few choice expletives. Taking the stage, Feige enthusiastically dubbed it "f**king awesome", punctuating his praise with further swear words to underscore its adult-oriented content.

Following Feige's introduction, Shawn Levy stepped into the spotlight to unveil nine minutes of spoiler-free footage, offering a glimpse into Wade Wilson's post-superhero career as a retired car salesman. Seamlessly transitioning into scenes featured in the trailer, the presentation highlighted Marvel Studios' inaugural venture into R-rated territory. As for now, not only Feige but the film's star, Ryan Reynolds, is capitalizing on this new direction with unconventional promotional strategies, evident in the recent release of custom gin bottles tied to the movie's launch.
