DC Universe&#8217;s one of the most famous characters, Joker, is getting a sequel. The unique thing about the upcoming DC film is it has a musical approach which will add more thrill to the viewers&#8217; experience. While the DC character is taking a big turn, the MCU is also playing big with its animated series, What If&#8230;? The MCU animated series is reimagining noteworthy events in the universe while creating a multiverse of infinite possibilities.
After the success of the first season, the MCU is coming back with season 2 in December 2023. Is MCU taking a cue from DC&#8217;s Joker 2 with their latest season updates?
<h2>What If&#8230;? season 2 might have the same setup as Joker 2</h2>
Ahead of the release of the series, there are a lot of conversations and rumors surrounding the second season. Amidst the wait for the animated series to hit the screens, the latest update came about the episode titles. As The Nerd Rage Podcast posted on X, there would be 9 episodes along with one musical-themed episode as well. According to the list, one of the titles is, What If…? Wanda Had Grown Up Watching Musicals Instead of Sitcoms? However, it is not confirmed if the list is true or not. If this list is true, then one of the episodes would feature a different tone than other episodes.

It implies that the upcoming installment will retell the story of WandaVision from Disney+ but with a twist: the homage to various sitcoms will be substituted with musical theater parodies. The details are intriguing because What If&#8230;? Wanda Had Grown Up Watching Musicals Instead of Sitcoms? will be the first full-length musical in the MCU canon after Rogers: The Musical 2021 Faux-Broadway show. Notably, the MCU has not yet confirmed or commented on this supposed list of episodes. Therefore, everything according to this list is purely speculative.
