When the fine line between performance and natural fades, we get something truly extraordinary. And while theatrical plays achieved this success long ago, modern cinema is doing wonders as well. Furthermore, the musicals perhaps put on the finest displays. This brings us to very pleasing news- the filming of the Bob Dylan biography will soon start and Timothee Chalamet will be here to make our bodies swing on his notes.

Yes! The wait is now over and the long-held biographical film will now start filming this August. James Mangold, who confirmed this news to Collider at the ExCel center after they announced his Star Wars movie, also exclaimed “Of course!” when the interviewer asked if Chalamet will do “his own singing” instead of dubbing Dylan’s voice.

The autobiographical musical, Tick Tick…Boom! witnessed an eccentric and career-best performance by Andrew Garfield, who also championed his vocals up to the mark, poignantly exploring Jonathan Larson’s personal and professional struggles. And with such musicals already in existence, the pressure on Chalamet is certainly more.

Notably, they first confirmed the biopic back in 2020 with the American actor on board for over three years. The Covid-19 pandemic was reportedly one of the major reasons for withholding the project. However, the break is now over and we may get yet another Oscar-worthy biopic in American history.
