5 Years After His Unforgettable 50th, Will Smith Shares a Throwback to His Most Daring Stunt

55th birthday, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor decided to bring back one of
his most daring stunts.

For his 50th birthday, Will Smith decided to kick it up a notch and added an
action-filled recreational activity. While the stunt was already extreme, the
actor chose to do the unthinkable.


WILL SMITH CELEBRATES HIS 55TH BIRTHDAY WITH A THROWBACK

The Men in Black star recently took to his Instagram to celebrate his 55th
birthday on 25th September. Although most people would have expected a cute
dinner or party, Will Smith, who recently posted a throwback for Jada Pinkett
Smith’s birthday

brought back a clip from one of his best birthdays ever. The star posted a
throwback from his fiftieth, which was five years ago. The video featured the
star bungee jumping out of a helicopter with the caption, “5 years ago today,
somebody was trippin’!”

His caption was definitely spot on given the fact the actor chose to add another
element of danger to his jump. He chose to bungee over the Grand Canyon, with
his friends and family watching. But five years later, it looks like even Smith
realizes what a crazy attempt it was. However, most people who watched Smith
risk his life for this incredible feat were floored by the actor’s ability to
stay calm in that moment.

THE REASON BEHIND WILL SMITH’S 50TH BIRTHDAY SHENANIGANS

Will Smith’s 50th may be one that he will never forget, but it is also etched
into the minds of his fans forever. Although the star chose to celebrate the
milestone with a bungee jump over the Grand Canyon, it still boggled his fans as
to why he would do that. Apart from being Smith’s way of facing his biggest
fears, the entire thing came up from a popular YouTube page, Yes Theory that
dared him to skydive after watching the actor talk about how he did not want
fear to stop him.



Unsurprisingly, Will Smith happily agreed to the challenge, but he had three
conditions of his own. His first condition was that all the proceeds from his
jump would go to charity. Secondly, they needed to wait till the star had
wrapped up his movie filming at the time. Lastly, it had to be done over the
Grand Canyon. While the rest is history, it is evident that the star will not be
forgetting his spectacular experience any time soon.
