For more than three decades now, Adam Sandler has been entertaining the world with his unique comedic style. His characters, who maintain a goofball persona stuck in weirdly uncomfortable situations, have brought him much love since his early days on the big screen. One of his biggest hits came with Happy Gilmore in 1996, which made him a bankable star and a worthy lead who can deliver extraordinary comedy flicks. Now, 30 years after the first blockbuster, Sandler is returning for a spectacular sequel.

Happy Gilmore 2, which will be arriving on July 25 on Netflix, is about to give the first big look. Adam Sandler has just shared a 15-second mini-video of the movie, promising the trailer to be out tomorrow. Written by Sandler and Tim Herlihy, Happy Gilmore 2 reawakens old glories and will feature the original star cast with some solid cameos secured.

In its initial teaser, the movie proudly boasts of special appearances from heavyweights in golf like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, Keegan Bradley, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, the legendary Jack Nicklaus, and so many more young bloods who are currently top names in the sport. There are players from other sports, too, with the biggest star being Travis Kelce. Besides Adam Sandler, the cast includes Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald, and Ben Stiller with original characters, but the mind-blowing cameos had everyone questioning Netflix’s massive budget for this golf glory movie.

Fans "can't wait" to see Happy Gilmore shining on the golf course again

Ever since the movie was announced a year ago, anticipation has been high among the fans who never thought that they would see Happy playing again. During his appearance on Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, in August last year, Adam Sandler shared a rough idea of the story, saying the movie itself picks up from an older guy who played golf a long time ago. Some stuff goes on in his life. Adding, “He's different; he's a bit of a mess," and in the sequel, they try to get his life exciting again. Matching the actor’s vibe, the fans are just as excited, as seen in the comments.

The premise and the camoes is a big selling factor for this sequel which has the fans hooked.
