While many actors tried to show the world their idea of the iconic superhero, the fans ultimately chose the American actor’s performance of the hero over Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel.

With the search mission for the next Superman, fans keep going back to the actors who have already portrayed the character. This time, a fan on Twitter compared Cavill’s Superman with Tyler Hoechlin’s version. They chose Hoechlin’s portrayal of the DC’s beloved superhero.

Tyler Hoechlin is an American actor who portrays Superman in The CW’s famous drama Superman & Lois. The series deals with all the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being a working parent in today’s society. The events of the show take place in a different dimension, known as an alternate Earth. It does not connect to the Earth-Prime of the most recent multiverse.

Fans ditch Henry Cavill and choose Tyler Hoechlin as their favorite Superman

Recently, fans even talked about how Cavill’s portrayal of the Kryptonian did not convince them. They also compared the British actor with David Corenswet amidst the search for the new Kryptonian. However, this time, fans chose this other actor to be their favorite Man of Steel over the 40-year-old actor.

While these fans choose Tyler Hoechlin, a fan said if they would have gotten more of Cavill’s version, they would have loved it as well. Although now there is no chance of seeing the Enola Holmes actor as Superman, some fans still talked about how they loved his version. A fan even complemented Hoechlin’s version by saying, “He’s breath of fresh air.”
