Fans Are Losing It, as 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Goes Too Meta With Paul Rudd Joke

Traditionally, Deadpool films are known for their iconic one-liners and witty banter, largely attributed to the irreverent Merc with a Mouth. The trailers released thus far for Deadpool & Wolverine have not been shy to showcase these trademark elements. While Deadpool's clever references often draw from tangible sources, their unique spin on Marvel characters adds an extra layer of intrigue to his on-screen antics. This time, the eye of intrigue landed on another Marvel favorite portrayed by Paul Rudd and fans do not seem to get enough of it, thanks to Deadpool’s timeless jokes.

A recently circulated IMAX exclusive trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine, currently screening in theaters, clocking in at under a minute, showcases the pair in their trademark banter, with the latter urging the former to don his mask again as they prepare to grab a meal. Deadpool humorously retorts that eating with a mask on is challenging, to which Logan counters that it is equally difficult for him to dine otherwise. The scene then transitions to the heroes approaching Giant Man's skeleton, prompting Deadpool to quip about Paul Rudd finally showing signs of aging.
