The rumor mill is spinning once again, and this time it is making a bold claim about Spider-Man: Brand New Day star Zendaya. Social media has been flooded with speculation that the actress, who is married to Tom Holland, is expecting her first child. While the internet is no stranger to baseless gossip, some rumors have turned out to be true over the years.

Moreover, there are several pictures and proofs making the rounds online suggesting that the actress is pregnant. So, where did this latest claim about Zendaya come from, and if there is any truth in it? 

A recent post by MR MONEY on X falsely claimed that Zendaya is pregnant. The post even featured what appeared to be an ultrasound image along with a lengthy Instagram message claiming that she and Tom Holland were expecting their first child. However, the ultrasound image was clearly edited, and neither Zendaya nor Holland has shared any such photo or announcement with fans.

The pregnancy rumors are false. What is interesting, however, is how they started. The speculation began over the Canada Day long weekend after a paparazzi photo showed Zendaya leaving a Toronto soundstage wearing an oversized hoodie while carrying a large tote bag.

A TikTok user quickly zoomed in on the image, fueling pregnancy speculation that rapidly spread across social media. This is not the first time Zendaya has faced such rumors. She was also rumored to be pregnant in 2022 and later addressed the baseless claims herself.

"See now, this is why I stay off Twitter," she wrote on Instagram story. "Just making stuff up for no reason weekly."

Aside from the pregnancy rumors, Zendaya and Holland have also been discussed in another rumor, and that may actually have some truth to it.

Tom Holland made a rare and adorable public comment about his marriage to Zendaya. During a Wired interview promoting Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, Holland was asked whether Zendaya's character Athena was romantically interested in Odysseus. The actor was quick to dismiss it with a sweet gesture. 

“No, because she's married to me,” he said, as his co-star laughed. 

His co-star Matt Damon, who was also in attendance, was also quick to call it a "good answer" during the interview. Now, Holland and Zendaya have largely kept their wedding out of the public eye. However, the actor has occasionally shared heartwarming glimpses into their married life, and this is one such.
