This year has been quite busy for both Marvel Studios and DC Studios, thanks to major releases lined up. Marvel Studios has already seen massive success with its blockbuster movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and is now looking ahead to the release of Avengers: Doomsday. Meanwhile, DC Studios released Supergirl earlier this year and is gearing up for the release of Clayface.

Apart from making headlines for different movies, both studios are unexpectedly being mentioned together as rumors of a potential crossover in a new live-action movie begin to make the rounds. If true, this could be one of the biggest crossovers in superhero film history. However, is there any truth to this major crossover?

Here is a closer look at the truth behind the rumor.

Will there be a Marvel Studios and DC Studios crossover?

Havoc Crave shared a post announcing that Marvel Studios and DC Studios are in talks to come together for a live-action crossover movie, which is Avengers vs. Justice League. However, Havoc Crave is a parody account, so this exciting news is not true. Moreover, there is no official update on such a crossover.

Now, a crossover, as mentioned in the post, is not impossible, since the two universes have had historic crossovers in comic books. Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man is one such arc. However, such a crossover has yet to happen in a live-action movie.

While there is no potential Marvel and DC live-action crossover in sight as of now, fans will be looking forward to the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday. This is one of the most anticipated films of the year and will feature an exciting crossover with the Fantastic Four, X-Men, and many more.

However, Marvel has yet to provide an official update, so uncertainty remains surrounding the film’s production schedule. The film is currently scheduled for release in December 2027, and any further delays in production could push its release date back to 2028. However, as of now, these reports remain only rumors.
