According to their newsletter, Heat Vision sources close to the production revealed that Brad Pitt will not be a part of The Batman Part II.

“Pitt will not be in the movie," Heat Vision reported. The rumor gained momentum primarily within the loose ecosystem of online sites and fan casting threads.

According to the newsletter Heat Vision by THR, these posts often claimed the production was seeking two middle-aged antagonists, immediately leading fans to link high-caliber stars like Pitt to the mystery roles, such as Dr. Hugo Strange or Hush. This type of speculative fan casting, while fun, ultimately became misinterpreted as actual news, driving the rumor to go viral.

While Brad Pitt will not be joining the ranks, The Batman Part II is already set to feature a strong returning cast from the critically acclaimed first film. This ensemble includes actors whose performances have defined the new iteration of Gotham. The film is currently aiming to start shooting in May 2026.
