An X post from @hlghprst_ claimed that Sydney Sweeney had broken up with Scooter Braun after allegedly catching him being unfaithful with his young assistant. The post featured a photo of Sweeney and Braun alongside a video of the actress crying as she called out online trolls on social media. However, the post is fake and contains false information.

The video is also old, dating back to 2021, when Sweeney addressed the criticism for her appearance she had received online. Moreover, there has been no official confirmation from either Braun or Sweeney about a breakup, suggesting that the two are likely still together. The pair were first linked in June 2025, when they were spotted strolling together in Venice.

Since then, Sweeney and Braun have been seen together in Los Angeles, New York City, Italy, and Lake Tahoe. On April 7, 2026, the couple attended the Euphoria Season 3 premiere in Los Angeles. And about a week later, Sweeney and Braun seemingly made their relationship Instagram official when she shared a photo of them from the event. Braun later reposted the picture to his Instagram Story, captioning it, “Lucky b******.”

The Spokane County wildfires destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses and forced more than 67,000 people to evacuate. The Old Trails, Autumn Lane, and Fairview fires have burned more than 10,000 acres and damaged around 700 structures, as per Fox13 Seattle. Although Sweeney left Spokane to pursue her acting career elsewhere, she is connected to her hometown and stepped in to support its community when it needed help. As for the breakup rumors, these are likely false.
