Fans are recently speculating about the future of two of Marvel's most cherished characters as rumors circulate that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman might be leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Secret Wars. With Deadpool and Wolverine finally making their way to the MCU in Deadpool & Wolverine, the speculation over their long-term role has only increased. All of which means that Reynolds and Jackman’s MCU saga might not be over with Avengers: Secret Wars after all.

Now, unconfirmed reports suggest that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will exit the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Avengers: Secret Wars. Rumors still point to the movie possibly ending their runs as Deadpool and Wolverine, but no official announcement has been made by Marvel Studios or the actors. Both characters are set to play major parts in the MCU’s multiverse storyline, and with future talks still happening, their stories could go on after Secret Wars.
