The X account Hoops Crave shared a viral photo of the couple embracing each other, which started rumors about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez possibly reuniting. The image quickly spread across social media with fans guessing that the former couple had gotten back together, a third time, after their highly publicized divorce. However, no credible sources can confirm their dating rumors.

"Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly dating," captioned the parody account for the viral image that does not match facts despite the intense digital scrutiny.

Some users have been lashing out under the comments section of the X post, expressing exhaustion over the fake rumors, while some have been flooding it with Ben Affleck memes. 

The picture @HoopsCrave's tweet entails is an an old red carpet photo of the former couple at the premiere of Lopez's 2022 film Marry Me. In the picture, the actress had sported a lace dress designed by Giambattista Valli from the Italian luxury brand's first bridal collection, in a nod to the movie. Affleck, her boyfriend at that time, had joined her for support after the duo got back together a second time.

The two have been seen together at public functions and family events since their split, but these appearances continue to fuel unfounded reconciliation rumors online. While Bennifer is not back together, their turbulent history remains dramatic enough on its own.
