And with the end of the strikes came the rush hour of expectations for the
revival of ongoing projects. Topping the charts of those speculations and
anticipation was the filming of Deadpool 3. While that commenced ahead, Ryan

socks for the filming of yet another movie.

Only recently, Ryan Reynolds was spotted on the sets of IF with costar Cailey
Fleming. The upcoming fantasy flick is named Imaginary Friends. Surrounded by
the film crew, the actor was seen donning a white polka-dot shirt layered with a
black jacket. Earlier, last November, the Deadpool actor was seen filming for
this project in Brooklyn. However, due to the SAG-AFTRA affair, the shooting was
on a hiatus.

IF is wholly written and under directorial by John Krasinski, and is slated for
release on May 17th, 2024. The movie focuses on a youngster who begins to
visualize everyone’s imaginary friends. As a child, everyone had their imaginary
friends. However, in the course of adulting, one often lets go of such
relationships. The movie is a collaboration between live-action and CGI
animation. Apart from Reynolds and Fleming, the cast includes Steve Caroll,
Emily Blunt, and Matt Damon.
