Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide star Tylor Chase found homeless

Tylor Chase, mainly recognized for his role as Martin Qwerly in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, appeared homeless in the streets of Riverside, California, in the widely shared videos on TikTok and X. The clip posted by @ricecrackerspov on TikTok sparked discussions about the struggles of child actors.

The former Nickelodeon star, who is now 36 years old, has been sleeping on the street, according to the viral video, which showed him wandering in tattered clothes, talking to people, and looking troubled. The original poster asked the bedraggled former actor whether he starred in a Disney show, after which he corrected her, saying he starred in the Nickelodeon show.

However, TikTok user @ricecrackerspov was not the first to encounter Chase in this state, as another TikToker, LetHallAlli, came across him on the streets of Los Angeles earlier in September 2025. The video went viral as well, getting millions of views and revisiting concern about his health.

Later, fans established GoFundMe campaigns to support him, but his family later requested its closure, explaining that he needed long-term medical care and financial support. Family members made public statements that Chase suffers from bipolar disorder and is in a constant state of financial and medical difficulties. This sparked a deluge of debates online among his fans and former colleagues alike.

Fans and media have given Tylor Chase's homelessness sensational attention. But the seriousness and complication of his case demand urgent long-term housing and mental health treatment, not temporary fixes, per Chase's former co-star Daniel Curtis Lee's statement on his podcast. Some users on X have pointed out how Chase's identity needs to protected from media baits.
