Cavill enamored fans with his unique take. However, the journey to prepare
himself for the same was not necessarily an easy one. Gaining some 20 pounds of
sheer muscle weight for the role, the actor went all out. Yet, back in January
2022, he wished to go back in time and let his younger self know that “It is not
supposed to be easy.”



Although acknowledging that “Everyone’s different,” he believed that he “would
have benefited from” working on himself long before donning the red cape. The
40-year-old went through a rigorous training schedule six days a week involving
weights and deadlifts to build his current stature. The result of it was him
narrowly losing to Daniel Craig for James Bond, but becoming a fan-favorite with
Superman and Geralt. Moreover, he also laid out fitness advice, recommending
fans to “Do it your way” but by using the “right information.”
