Every New TV Show, Movie and Documentary Coming to Netflix April 2026

April will soon arrive, bringing with it that familiar unpredictability of sunshine one moment, sudden showers the next. That same sense of surprise is felt over Netflix’s newest lineup arriving this month. Much like the previous month, April will also have a blend of fresh originals, fan-favourite series, thought-provoking documentaries, and films across genres.

As April gets close to bloom, here is a close look at some of the titles to keep an eye on.

April’s Netflix Watchlist (April 1 to 10)

The streaming giant kicks off April on a strong note, with a solid lineup of films like Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), chronicling the life of Freddie Mercury and Queen’s journey. Alongside this title, fresh originals, series, and more are set to drop on the very first day of the month. 

Dorohedoro (Season 2), Eat Pray Bark (2026), Giving Hope: The Ni’Cola Mitchell Story (2023), Happy’s Place (Season 1), It Takes a Village (2026), Love on the Spectrum (Season 4), Madagascar (2005), Sarah Millican: Late Bloomer (2026), St. Denis Medical, The Giant Falls (2025), oriko x One Piece: Special Collaboration Episode (2011) are rest of the movies and shows to expect on April 1.

April 2 will be a celebration of Netflix originals with 5 shows returning or making their debut. Agent from Above (Season 1), The Ramparts of Ice (Season 1), Sins of Kujo (Season 1), The Bad Guys: The Series (Season 2), and XO, Kitty (Season 3) are notable titles. Anime series Windbreaker (Season 2) and Black and Blue (2019) are also in the lineup. 

On April 3, Bloodhounds Season 2 returns with a new storyline involving a more dangerous criminal network, while Feel My Voice (2026) introduces an Italian drama following a teenager balancing family expectations and musical ambition. The same day also includes Gangs of Galicia Season 2, continuing its Spanish crime narrative, High Tides Season 3, and Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, adding an Indian legal comedy to the slate.

On April 6, India Sweets and Spices (2021) joins the catalog as an indie comedy exploring cultural identity and family dynamics. April 7 brings Beast (2022), a survival thriller starring Idris Elba, alongside a stand-up comedy special, Sheng Wang: Purple (2025), and Untold: Chess Mates (2026), a documentary examining the Magnus Carlsen–Hans Niemann controversy. On April 8, Trust Me: The False Prophet (2026), another investigative documentary, will arrive.

April 9 expands with 18th Rose (2026), a Filipino romantic comedy, Big Mistakes Season 1, a new series led by Dan Levy, and IF (2024), a fantasy comedy directed by John Krasinski. April 10 will see the release of Funny AF with Kevin Hart Season 1, while Temptation Island Season 10 continues the reality series. The same day also features Thrash (2026), a disaster thriller involving a hurricane and shark attacks, and Turn of the Tide Season 3.

April’s Netflix Watchlist (April 11 to 20)

April 11 will begin with one of the most anticipated animated series, One Piece (Elbaf Island Arc). It will follow the Straw Hats to Elbaf Island with new adventures and dangers, bringing them likely close to One Piece. This will be followed by At Home with the Furys (Season 2), Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov (2026). On April 12, Netflix will stream Fury vs. Makhmudov live, followed by the documentary Noah Kahan: Out of Body (2025) on April 13.

Crooks (Season 2) and Untold: Jail Blazers (2026) will be released on April 14, while Husband Father Killer: The Alyssa Pladl Story, Made with Love (Season 1), The Law According to Lidia Poët (Season 3), and Million Dollar Secret (Season 2) will arrive on April 15. The following is the much-awaited due to the expected arrival of the award-winning show, Beef (Season 2), and Ronaldinho: The One and Only (Limited Series).

The two latest projects, A Gorilla Story: Told By David Attenborough (2026), Roommates (2026),  will arrive on April 17. With Him (2025) on April 19 and CoComelon Lane (Season 2) on April 20, the second list comes to an end.

April’s Netflix Watchlist (April 21 to 30)

Netflix’s final stretch of April, from the 21st to the 30th, leans heavily into documentaries, originals, and high-concept series. On April 21, Untold: The Shooting at Hawthorne Hill (2026) will follow a real-life conflict that escalated into violence. April 22 brings Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool (2026), a documentary on the singer’s rise, alongside This Is a Gardening Show Season 1, led by Zach Galifianakis. 

On April 23, the animated spin-off Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 Season 1 debuts, along with Running Point Season 2 starring Kate Hudson. April 24 features Apex (2026), an action thriller led by Charlize Theron. On April 26, the Oscar-nominated film, Bugonia (2025), will premiere, alongside Supernova Strikers: Genesis, a live boxing event. April 27 will bring Straight to Hell Season 1 and another live boxing broadcast.

The lineup closes with Je m’appelle Agneta (2026) on April 29 and Man on Fire Season 1 on April 30. So, April will surely be a hectic month for the movie and series enthusiasts as well those who will be waiting for weekly episodes.
