D****, debauchery, and drama — the holy trinity of Euphoria is back with yet another episode. But the first question in everyone’s mind is: what happened to Rue? Episode 5 of Euphoria ended with a cliffhanger where she was seen burying herself up to her neck in the mud. Soon, Alamo made a grand entrance on a horse, about to knock her head off with a polo mallet before the end credits appeared on the screen.
Meanwhile, Cassie and Maddie are taking big leaps in their careers, despite their brief clash in the last episode. However, it is Alamo’s origin story that stole the spotlight.

Episode 6 starts with a flashback sequence of Alamo. We see his mother introducing him to her new partner, Preston, who had chemical scars all over his face. Although Alamo was scared and hesitant initially, Preston quickly won him over with kindnesses. Little did he know that his mom was orchestrating a long con on the man who was dreaming of marrying her, and he was just an unwitting prop in her plan. As Rue puts it, it was when he decided, “never again would a b**** outsmart him”.

The scene shifts to the present time where Alamo is tormenting a buried Rue. In order to save her own life, Rue compromises Faye. Throughout the meeting, Rue was recording everything for the DEA, collecting proof against the cartel. Meanwhile, Maddie and Cassie are also a part of the same world now.
What started with OF content has now taken the shape of a joint s**-work management partnership with Alamo.
Maddie moves through Alamo’s world
Maddie is now working full-time with Alamo as an independent digital talent manager and business partner, using the strip club as a backdrop to orchestrate raunchy shoots. She also brings in Cassie to pose with the strippers. Even after being warned by Rue, Maddie sticks to working with Alamo. Meanwhile, Cassie has nailed her L.A. Nights gig. However, in order for her to continue working on TV, she has to leave her OF world behind, betraying Maddie again.
