Over the span of just two seasons, HBO’s Euphoria became one of the most polarizing and hotly contested shows on television. But if there was one thing everyone could nod their heads to during its run- everyone rooted for Fez. Angus Cloud’s character, the quiet, charming gangster, Fezco, quickly became the heart of the show, despite having megastars like Zendaya. And his tragic passing, last year, was felt personally by fans of the teen drama across the board.

Even after close to a year since his passing, his influence on the silver screen can still be felt. Cloud’s last appearance on screen came out this weekend, and the late actor received the warmest of farewells from the makers. 

Before Angus Cloud tragically left the world, he wrapped up his last project, the vampire thriller, Abigail. The film had a heartfelt dedication to Cloud right at the start of the end credits, featuring the actor's signature in the shape of a cloud. As the end credits rolled, viewers are greeted with an "In Loving Memory" tribute to Cloud. Though the late actor's screen time was brief in the film, his radiant aura shined through in it, according to his fellow actors and the team behind the scenes. 

During the LA premiere of the film, Dan Stevens shared, "I really appreciate how this movie pays tribute to Angus Cloud". The North Hollywood actor played a kidnapper in the film, alongside actors like Stevens, Melissa Barrera, Kathryn Newton, Kevin Durand, and William Catlett. Not only Abigail's team but also the cast of Euphoria paid tribute to the actor upon hearing the saddening news last year. Especially Sydney Sweeney, as one of her wishes for the third season of Euphoria could not come true.

Sydney Sweeney had a special wish for Euphoria season 3 that could not happen without Angus Cloud's character, Fez. 

In an interview with British GQ, the actress took part in a fun segment. During this, she had to respond to questions about her Euphoria character found online. She stumbled upon a comment on a photo of her with Angus Cloud, asking why there are not many scenes of the two characters together. "I have been saying this," said the actress. “I ask Sam all the time to please somehow connect Cassie with Fezco”. 

She also hoped for some changes in the upcoming season. However, it is known that Fezco's character has been written out of the series in the second season. And with Cloud's passing, there is no chance for flashbacks or dream appearances of the actor in season 3 either. While everyone feels Cloud's absence deeply, the Abigail tribute finally offered fans the closure they have been seeking.
