‘Euphoria’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Stunner Eric Dane Unleashes an Assault of Praises on Will Smith

Despite the entourage of fans that follow almost every celebrity, as if they were a religion, the sayings about 'never meet your idol' have always had a lot of momentum. It is a widespread perception, or knowledge even, that the layer just beneath the glitzy demeanor presented in front of the camera is not the one you would like to see. Eric Dane, despite playing quite the unlikable character in Euphoria, has managed to not prove the rumors true, and he decided to share some of that golden light with his Bad Boys: Ride or Die co-stars as well.

The actor gave some much needed perspective into the behind the scenes of his recent blockbuster, turning the tides for Will Smith.

51-year-old, Eric Dane, has been causing quite the waves with his projects recently. Having proven his acting prowess in the long-running show Grey's Anatomy, the actor once again entered the chat owing to his character arc and phenomenal performance in Euphoria. However, it was in Bad Boys: Ride or Die that he got a taste of the sweet blockbuster nectar. In an interview with Interview Magazine, the actor revealed that a lot of it had to do with Will Smith. "He cares so much about the project. He actually, you know, makes it better," Dane said about Smith.

Dane further went on to say that Will Smith is a "solid dude," making sure to let the world know that his adoration for the Oscar-winning actor went beyond the realms of professionalism. The actor did not leave his other Bad Boys: Ride or Die co-star far behind as he complimented Martin Lawrence as well.

While Eric Dane churned out words of sugar for his co-stars, he had a pretty shocking take on his former project, Grey's Anatomy, often regarded as his trademark.

To see Eric Dane reach new heights in his career at this stage in his life for his fans is nothing less than a Christmas present. The actor has been in the business for decades now and created quite a stir with his character in Grey's Anatomy. However, despite having situated himself as one of the prime characters, the actor revealed that to Dax Shepard on his Armchair Expert podcast that the show let him go.

For Eric Dane, who had been part of the show for more than half a decade, the unemployment did not come at the best of times as he was also dealing with an addiction. The actor has spoken candidly over the years about how the intense pressure of being on a show like that really gets under the skin. Fortunately, as Euphoria continues its journey to the zenith, Eric Dane has been sober for years and, going by his experience with Will Smith, has found some good industry friends.
