Emmys’ Throwback: Revisiting Sydney Sweeney’s Tears of Joy in 2022 From Her Double Nomination at the Grand Set

To achieve success in any line of work, one must work smart and hard. But the acknowledgment of success comes when the people around you or in your industry really take note of it. They actually recognize your work and applaud you for it. Back in 2022, Sydney Sweeney also got recognized in Hollywood by getting two Emmy nominations for two different dramas. Surprisingly, she was not the lead of the shows, yet, her fans loved her in both shows.

From going from one place to another for auditions, Sweeney finally landed a groundbreaking role in the 2019 HBO drama Euphoria. Post her appearance as Cassie Howard in Euphoria, the 25-year-old actress also bagged a role in yet another HBO drama, The White Lotus as Olivia Mossbacher. And in 2022, the actress got nominations for both these roles at the Emmys for Outstanding Supporting Actress as well.

Understandably so, the Emmy-nominated star could not hold her tears of joy while calling her mother. While the Reality star had the greatest moment of her career with these nominations, both her shows got nominations in various other categories as well. The Everything Sucks! actress took to Twitter to share her joy and pride with her fans as well, thanking everyone for supporting her.

Lately, Sweeney has been turning heads with her recent performances, too. Her latest role as Reality Winner in the movie Reality also earned her a lot of praise.
