Published 09/14/2025, 9:09 PM EDT

The 77th Emmy Awards are happening Sunday night, with Severance leading the pack at 27 nominations, including best drama series. It’s up against Andor, The Diplomat, The Last of Us, Paradise, The Pitt, Slow Horses, and The White Lotus. The Penguin follows with 24 nods, while The Studio and The White Lotus both earned 23. HBO and Max dominated the platform tally once again.

In comedy, The Studio made history, tying The Bear’s 2024 record for most noms in a year for a comedy series. It's competing with Abbott Elementary, The Bear, Hacks, Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, Shrinking, and What We Do in the Shadows. Meanwhile, The Last of Us, Andor, and Hacks all scored over a dozen nominations each.

Hosted by Nate Bargatze, the live broadcast kicks off at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and streams on Paramount+. Presenters include Stephen Colbert, Sydney Sweeney, the Gilmore Girls duo Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, and Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Expect a Law & Order reunion, too. Winners are being announced live—stay tuned for updates.
