A star-studded dinner recently reunited the Harry Potter stars, delighting longtime fans with a burst of nostalgia.

A familiar spark appeared at an exclusive dinner hosted by Dior in collaboration with W Magazine, where Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson were photographed together, delighting longtime fans. The reunion carries a special significance because of the roles the pair played in the wizarding saga. Watson became synonymous with Hermione Granger, the fiercely intelligent Gryffindor whose quick thinking saved the trio more times than fans can count.

Pattinson, meanwhile, appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Cedric Diggory, the noble Hufflepuff champion whose tragic fate remains one of the franchise’s most emotional turning points.   

Guests at the dinner included Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, along with actors like Macaulay Culkin, Tracee Ellis Ross, Charlize Theron, and Teyana Taylor. The pre-Oscars dinner was held at the iconic restaurant Mr Chow and served as an elegant kickoff to the Academy Awards weekend celebrations. Another quiet highlight of the evening was the public appearance of Pattinson alongside his partner, Suki Waterhouse.

While nostalgia may follow him everywhere, Pattinson’s career has moved firmly into bold new territory.

The unusual romantic drama, The Drama, directed by Kristoffer Borgli and produced by A24, follows a couple whose engagement spirals into unexpected chaos. Zendaya plays Emma Harwood, a bookshop assistant from Louisiana, while Robert Pattinson portrays Charlie Thompson, a London museum director. The movie is set to release on April 3, 2026.

The film also features performances from Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, and Zoë Winters, adding depth to Borgli’s character-driven story. Both Patinson and Zendaya are also expected to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey.

Following projects like Mickey 17 and Die, My Love, Pattinson continues to line up major roles. Yet, despite the evolving career and new cinematic worlds, a single reunion photo can still send fans back to Hogwarts. Sometimes nostalgia works like magic that way.
