Dwayne Johnson’s Historical Belt Out of ‘You’re Welcome’ at the WWE SmackDown Has Fans ‘Crying’
Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, stepped back into the WWE arena on Friday night, revving up excitement for an epic tag team match at WrestleMania 40. With musicians jamming out on guitars and harmonicas nearby, and fans clapping along with gusto, The Rock’s smooth vocals entertained the crowd as he riffed on different subjects. However, the highlight of the March 15th, 2024 edition of WWE SmackDown came when he greeted the audience in the most legendary way imaginable.
The SmackDown kicked off with The Rock, making his grand entrance to his old “Hollywood” theme music from 2003. Then, he hinted at treating the Memphis fans to a little song about the fate awaiting Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Johnson referenced Cody Rhodes’ recent RAW promo, specifically targeting his mother. He pledged to present Rhodes’ mother with his son’s blood-soaked weight belt, and that is when he will say, “What can I say, except you’re welcome,” singing his iconic line from Moana.
