At this point, everyone in the world knows that American President Donald Trump does not shy away from poking fun at renowned world leaders publicly. The US citizens are used to it by now, but for the rest of the world, it is still a bit unbelievable to see him taking jabs at prominent figures in world diplomacy. Now his latest target seems to be the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with whom he has been having a difficult relationship lately.

Recently, he posted a sketch from SNL UK that portrays Starmer in an unflattering role.

President Donald Trump posted a segment of the SNL UK sketch on his Truth Social account on Sunday morning. The segment depicted Prime Minister Keir Starmer as being afraid of Trump and trying to dodge a call from him. Although Trump did not leave any comment or caption in the post, it does not exactly hide his intentions.

Trump has expressed criticism of the UK and other NATO partners in recent months, suggesting differing perspectives. And his Truth Social post seems to reflect a continuation of that tone.

Additionally, they have publicly disagreed on the subject of free speech in the UK. In an effort to mitigate the effects of policies like Trump's global tariffs on the UK, Sir Keir has simultaneously attempted to establish a tight relationship with the United States. But those efforts now appear to have little effect, especially after Donald Trump’s mocking post.

In the sketch, George Fouracres of the SNL UK cast portrayed Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom attempting to inform U.S. President Donald Trump that he does not wish to participate in the ongoing conflict. When the phone rings, he gets scared and asks his advisor, played by Hammed Animashaun, what he should do. The advisor says to be himself.

As soon as Trump answers the call, Starmer puts the phone down, scared about the President’s response. His other advisor, played by Jack Shep, advises him to break up with the American President over a voice note, so that he does not have to talk directly to him. The ridiculous idea is followed by an even more ridiculous voice note that involves everything from Iraq to Friends.

The video ends with his advisor congratulating him for doing the bare minimum, giving a taste of the outrageous sketches SNL UK has in store for fans.
