Kim Kardashian was the breakout actress last year. While fans mostly saw her as a fashion guru and a boss lady, she showed them a whole new side by flexing her acting muscles. Five months after dropping the bombshell about her role in American Horror Story: Delicate, she graced the screens in the season premiere like a breath of fresh air. In a storyline inspired by Danielle Valentine's novel, Delicate Condition, Kardashian wowed audiences with her portrayal of the powerhouse publicist Siobhan Corbyn.

Now, ahead of American Horror Story: Delicate Part Two's release, Dominic Burgess dished on shooting steamy scenes with the SKIMS tycoon and shared how the whole experience unfolded. 

In the horror anthology, American Horror Story: Delicate, Dominic Burgess took on the role of up-and-coming director Hamish Moss. His character brought on board Siobhan Corbyn, played by Kim Kardashian, who employed her otherworldly talents to boost his career. As they worked side by side, they dedicated an afternoon to a steamy scene which was guided by the expertise of a "great intimacy coordinator". Opening up to Variety, Burgess confessed to feeling "nervous and body-conscious,” but credited their intimacy coordinator for turning it into “a really pleasant experience”. 

The actor also admitted he was not familiar with Kim Kardashian before their project, but was impressed by her warmth and professionalism. He reflected on Kardashian's constant curiosity, collaborative spirit, and genuine engagement. However, it was not only Dominic Burgess who was "nervous" on the set as even Kim Kardashian felt those butterflies while shooting the film.

In fact, she was allegedly “nervous” even before stepping into the iconic horror franchise or season 12 of American Horror Story.

Being cast in such a huge and popular project was a significant moment, even for someone with Kim Kardashian's status. A source disclosed to Us Weekly in April 2023 that Kardashian felt a bit "nervous" about stepping into such a crucial project alongside some of the industry's most gifted individuals. Kardashian especially formed a close bond with Emma Roberts, whom she found "so much fun", as revealed during season 4 of The Kardashians.

Later, during her conversation with Roberts about filming the horror series, she opened up about adjusting to the "long hours," which was a challenge for her as compared to her past projects. Kardashian also shared her newfound appreciation for actors, recognizing the dedication they put into their craft. And with Dominic Burgess' interview, it is safe to say that the admiration is mutual.
