Whether it is a forehead vein or bathwater, the internet’s love for Sydney Sweeney is unhinged. And the actress sure knows how to flip every brainrot-fueled obsession into gold. Ever since stepping into Cassie’s chaos, and then reviving the rom-com genre with Anyone But You, she has remained a cultural fixation. Now, Sydney's Bathwater Bliss, pitched as having her used bathwater, not only sold out in seconds, hit resale sites for absurd prices, but the soap has also made people cooking up daily soap-level plotlines. The latest is that it has a hole in it.

As the internet is out there, chasing the mysterious Sydney Sweeney soap donut, here is the tweet that started it all.

X user, who goes by the name "Tayoncé Defense Attorney is a crashout baby", birthed a theory wilder than their username. The user shared, “sydney sweeney's soap has a hole in the middle?”, and somehow, that was enough to send the internet spiraling. Redditors assembled. X users foamed at the mouth. And the SoapGate was on. However, the claim was completely made up. There is no hole in the Bathwater Bliss.

The tweet was immediately flagged by X, confirming, “Sydney Sweeney's soap does not have any holes”. Whether or not it contains Sweeney’s bathwater, the soap stunt is the kind of slick marketing even Ryan Reynolds would slow clap for. And even though the brand, Dr. Squatch, was not the mastermind behind the bathwater idea, it sure is riding the wave to the bank — but so are a few savvy fans.
