Disney Upfronts: Lindsay Lohan, Kit Harington, and Shailene Woodley Debut First Look at ‘Count My Lies’

First whispered about in early 2025, the thriller series, Count My Lies, starring Lindsay Lohan, Kit Harington, and Shailene Woodley, has finally unveiled its first look at the Disney Upfronts, where its impeccably famous cast arrived to sell mystery with the confidence of people who know secrets are expensive.
The series now joins the ever-expanding parade of thriller adaptations, proving once again that audiences remain helpless before a good lie, particularly one bound in hardcover first.

The cast of Count My Lies appeared at the 2026 Disney Upfronts at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to promote the upcoming thriller series. Lindsay Lohan, Kit Harington, and Shailene Woodley lead the show, which is based on the acclaimed psychological thriller novel by Sophie Stava. With a promising premise and a star-studded cast, the series has already started a buzz ahead of its release.
The series follows Sloane Caraway, played by Woodley, who lies her way into a nanny position for the seemingly perfect couple, Violet, played by Lohan, and Jay Lockhart, portrayed by Harington. While her small lies initially land her the perfect job, she soon realizes the family’s house hides dangerous secrets. The series is still in production, with the actors recently spotted filming in different locations, including a farmers’ market and a park.
While both Lohan and Harington admitted they are still filming and cannot reveal many details, they assured fans that the series will be a thrilling watch. Lohan and Harington, who are both parents in real life, will play a married couple on screen. Lohan shares one child with her husband, Bader Shammas, while Harington shares two children with his wife, Rose Leslie.
While speaking of the filming the series, both actors also opened up about balancing their personal lives and kids while stepping into their new roles.

Lindsay Lohan and Kit Harington formed a great connection during filming. She added that when they are not shooting scenes on set, they often text their spouses or share photos and videos of their children with one another. As for balancing their work and personal life, both shared their hurdles and how they approach those.
“I think you find a good mix in time and especially, like, when you have that kind of relationship with your partner, you guys kind of work it out and you go with the flow and it all kind of falls into place," Lindsay said.
"You go from being proper dad to fake dad… and trying to find, like, where they mix and you're like, ‘But I'm not me, but I am me,' but it's odd. It can be a bit discombobulating," Harrington added.

Moreover, both are enjoying their time in New York City, where much of the filming is taking place. As for the series, it is a new space for all three lead actors. While the show is still in production, the trio appeared excited about the upcoming thriller.
