Iger looked back on Allers' timeless body of work with admiration, amid the Aladdin writer's sudden demise at the age of 76.

Veteran visual effects supervisor Dave Bossert, friend and collaborator of Allers, disclosed the news of his death on Facebook. He reminisced about exchanging emails with the stalwart director just last week, which rendered another awfully heartbreaking and unreal layer to the news.
