Deadline has reported that MUBI's staggering $24 million purchase of the film aimed to release it on 1,500 screens for 45 days across North and Latin America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, the Benelux, Turkey, India, Australia, and New Zealand. With Robert Pattinson and Lawrence taking the lead as the unstable, stifled couple who lose their grip on reality in isolation and descend into madness, the wait for Die My Love is almost over as anticipation grows louder.

Based on Ariana Harwicz's 2012 Spanish novel Die, My Love, titled Matate, amor, the movie is touted to be dark, funny, spontaneous, human, and utterly disturbing. Director Lynne Ramsay said in a statement that it speaks of the transformative power of the "complexity of love" and that "there’s heartbreak and beauty in vulnerability," as reported by Deadline. With Jennifer Lawrence previously revealing an unexpected emotional anchor for the film, Die My Love is bound to offer no less sensitivity and brutally beautiful comedy.
