Perez Hilton’s sister has recently spoken about the terrifying moment she found him during a disturbing livestream and says he looked 'very different' at the time. Hilton is a longtime celebrity blogger and media personality who rose to fame through his provocative coverage of Hollywood. Perez Hilton's sister has shared the horrifying moment she discovered the celebrity blogger in a desperate situation during a livestream. Barbara Lavandeira told Page Six that after the broadcast went on for about 30 minutes, she found her brother in his bathroom. At first, Hilton told her he was fine, but his voice was near a whisper. After she did not get an answer, she unlocked the door and was shocked when she saw the horrible sight, which left her badly shaken. 

“I didn’t recognize my brother when I looked at him. I saw it in his eyes. They didn’t look the same,”  Lavandeira said, expressing how she felt upon seeing her brother in a completely different state.

Lavandeira further told Page Six in a phone interview that she was reluctant to speak out against the rumors and inaccurate reports about her brother’s condition. But she said she wanted to set the record straight based on what she saw herself, especially as false claims and made-up quotes circulated online. Lavandeira also rejected the notion that the incident was some kind of comeuppance, saying Hilton is a good person who has expressed regret for parts of his controversial early career.

Amid a wave of speculation and conflicting reports, Perez Hilton’s sister has stepped forward to share her firsthand account of what happened. 

Barbara Lavandeira was at her brother's home in Miami when she noticed his bedroom door was closed. She soon located Perez Hilton in the bathroom next door, making the TikTok video, and immediately concentrated on getting his three children and her daughter to safety. A friend helped her move them away from the house, and she called 911 and went back to help her brother. She did not elaborate, saying the details were painful and overwhelming, as she also defended Hilton. 

The incident has provided Hilton’s family, especially his sister, a painful glimpse into the struggles that he has been battling behind the scenes. Lavandeira has chosen to share only what she personally saw, but her account does highlight the gravity of the situation and how it has impacted those closest to him. Hilton remains in a Miami hospital, and the focus is on his recovery and his family’s support in this difficult time.
