Sydney Sweeney might be one of Hollywood’s biggest actresses now. However, that was not always the case. Before the 26-year-old caught her breakthrough role in HBO’s Euphoria, she was still in the spotlight, but at a much smaller scale. Although she might now be the lead actress, she once had cameos in television shows like Grey's Anatomy, 90210, Criminal Minds, and more.

Despite shooting to fame with the teen drama series, it was not the first one that Sweeney had been a part of. Just a couple of years before the star sealed her fate in Hollywood, she was introduced to fans of Pretty Little Liars.

In 2017, the Pretty Little Liars fanbase was given a surprise cameo by Sydney Sweeney before she shot to fame. The actress appeared in the 7th season's 20th episode as Willa, a student at Rosewood High School. Although she had been a part of Ava Allan's character's friend group earlier in the season, her role was not as memorable as some of her other ones.

Sweeney had gotten screen time on one of the most popular television dramas at the time, starring Troian Bellisario, who played Spencer Hastings, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, and Shay Mitchell playing the iconic Emily Fields. However, it was not until two years later that fans started paying attention to the star's undercover cameo on the show.

Although Sweeney's fame took a lot of hard work and effort, the 26-year-old once revealed that the small roles had helped teach her some important lessons.

Since last year, Sydney Sweeney has been on a fiery streak with her films and projects. During the actress' time promoting her last movie, Madame Web, she opened up about what she had learned from her time on shows like Pretty Little Liars, 90210, and more. The 26-year-old told BuzzFeed that she had "learned so much from being on all those different shows."

Sweeney continued that no matter what the role, "you always treat everyone with respect." She also went on to say, "The crew are your best friends." After reminding everyone just how important the crew was to ensure everything went smoothly, the 26-year-old wrapped up the question by saying that she had watched the actors and "hoped" that she could do that one day.
