Matthew Perry was not mentioned in the BAFTA’s look back. Not only that, even
his Friends co-stars, Jennifer Aniston

Just last month, Friends fans were brought to tears as they watched the Emmy’s
In Memoriam segment. While the clip had featured a slew of Hollywood’s favorites
who had passed away, the spotlight was put on Matthew Perry. During the video,
pop star Charlie Puth took the stage to sing ‘See You Again’ with the duo, The
War and Treaty. However, just as the comedian came into focus, they switched to
a slowed-down version of the show’s theme song.

The moment had fans of the sitcom all bawling their eyes out at the emotional
moment. The only disappointment fans found was that the Friends cast members had
not joined in on the celebration of Perry’s life. However, it was later revealed
that they were all too grief-stricken to bring themselves on stage. After all,
the actor was like a brother to the stars.
