Despite her differences with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian wore an outfit that reminded everyone of him back during the 2021 MET Gala event

Despite Being Absent from Met Gala in 2021, Kim Kardashian Made Sure Everyone Remembers Kanye West

Kim Kardashian may have divorced Kanye West,
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/tag/kanye-west/] but she stayed married to his
fashion sense. The socialite and the designer would dazzle the MET Gala as they
twined during their years together. While she is known for her beige and brown
outfits, he is known for his black and dark attires. Their fashion sense
complimented each other, but they eventually began mixing it up.

While it was Ye who first took her to the MET Gala, he himself remains absent
from it now. Meanwhile, she continued to be a heard turner at the event. Back in
2021, she went solo but took his spirit along. Here is how Kardashian reminded
all of him, despite his absence.

HOW KIM KARDASHIAN CHANNELED KANYE WEST AT THE 2021 MET GALA

Ahead of her appearance at the MET Gala this year, one thing is clear: her
fashion sense has certainly evolved through the years. Back in 2021, she turned
up for the event in a fitted, long Balenciaga outfit in an almost ghost-like
black look. According to ET
[https://www.etonline.com/how-kanye-west-influenced-kim-kardashians-2021-met-gala-look-172042],
it reminded many of Ye’s style, and wondered if she took inspiration from him.
Which was, in fact, true. She even gave credit to him during an interview with
Vogue, despite their ongoing differences back then.

The outfit consisted of her being covered from top to bottom. She was wearing a
hoodie, a top, pants, and boots, with a mask to cover her face. The socialite
was not initially pleased to have her face covered, but the design team
convinced her that it was not about the face, but the concept. Then again, her
unique figure did not go unrecognized.
