Ryan Reynolds already had a preference in mind when he was asked to choose between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for his Wrexham AFC.

‘Deadpool’ and Wrexham’s Ryan Reynolds Has Already Chosen His Favorite Between Messi and Ronaldo

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds [https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/ryan-reynolds/] and
his friend Rob McElhenney have been making waves recently with their acquisition
of Wrexham AFC, a Welsh football club. Their significant investment in the team
has resulted in them moving up the soccer ladder significantly. However, when
asked about one of football’s prominent debates, what was their response? Lionel
Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? It appears that both had the same preference!

In a chat with Sports Illustrated, Reynolds and McElhenney discussed their
impact on Wrexham AFC, a soccer club that was previously stuck in the fifth-tier
league but now has a chance to move up to the National League
[https://www.netflixjunkie.com/netflix-news-after-months-of-fighting-for-streaming-national-league-ryan-reynolds-finally-has-something-to-celebrate-with-wrexham-afc/].
Next, was a question to weigh in on the fiery debate between Lionel Messi and
Cristiano Ronaldo. Who is the better player?

Ryan Reynolds quickly acknowledged the incredible talent of both athletes,
describing them as “unbelievable athletes.” However, when it came down to
choosing one over the other, they agreed: Lionel Messi. The duo perhaps knew the
repercussions of their statement throughout the soccer fandom!

This revelation is bound to ignite discussions among fans. Messi and Ronaldo
have both dominated the sport for over a decade, fueling debates about who is
superior. It is always fascinating to hear insights from those involved in
football, and Reynolds and McElhenney’s choice will undoubtedly add fuel to the
fire. It is worth noting that Ryan Reynolds also wished for Gareth Bale as an
option too!

However, a fan theory is thus ignited by Messi playing for Wrexham. Although it
may sound weird, it is not entirely impossible!

CAN RYAN REYNOLDS SIGN MESSI ONTO WREXHAM AFC?

Ryan Reynolds showcased his star influence by joining the Alpine F1 deal without
spending a penny personally

So can he use his star power to rope in Messi for Wrexham? The possibility of it
may sound far-fetched. The chances of the Argentine legend ever joining Wrexham
are calculated at 250/11. Still, they are not zero!

However, devoted Wrexham fans acknowledge that bringing Lionel Messi to the club
is nearly impossible. Messi made his debut for Inter Miami on July 21 2023 in a
thrilling match against Cruz Azul for the Leagues Cup. His debut attracted
numerous renowned celebrities, such as LeBron James, Serena Williams, Tom Brady,
and Kim Kardashian [http://netflixjunkie.com/tag/kim-kardashian]. In a display
of skill in his first game, for Inter Miami, he scored a remarkable game-winning
goal from a free kick. Consequently, while the idea of Messi joining Wrexham
might be entertaining for fans to entertain, it remains highly improbable.
