‘Deadpool 3’: Hugh Jackman Uncovers a Special Assistant That Helped Him Become Wolverine

Since 2022, the world has been waiting for Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 3. While everyone has been anticipating the return of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine into the fray; the actor gave his fans some insight into how he managed to bring back the buff character after all these years. The 55-year-old ended up shining a light on his special assistant, who helped him gear up for his epic comeback.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Jackman shared a clip of his workout. Although it may have looked rather grueling, the 55-year-old revealed that was the way he had become Wolverine again. In the post, the beloved actor pointed out that it would not have been possible without the help of his "friend and trainer Beth Lewis." He also thanked his trainer's "trusted assistant Andy" for prepping him for his much-awaited screen time.

Although it has been a few years since Jackman took over the silver screen as the mutant, there is no doubt that he will deliver a stunning performance as the iconic character once more. The actor has been giving it his all to get back into shape for the role. However, with his last time portraying the character back in 2017, the workouts seemed to have taken a toll on the beloved star. So much so that he even ended up calling for a day off once.

While Jackman might be getting a little tired with his vigorous training, thankfully he will not have to wait long before the training comes to an end.

Since last year, fans have been waiting for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman's Deadpool 3 to make its way to the theatre. While the SAG-AFTRA strike had put a brief halt in the production plans, it thankfully came to an end last year. Following the conclusion of the strike, the actors and Shawn Levy made their way back to the set to shoot the film. With filming wrapped up and the post-production taking place, fans were promised the movie on July 26th, 2024.

Although fans have received various updates about the Reynolds film during the shooting process, not much of the movie's story was given away. However, it ended up being confirmed that fans would be blessed with different variants like Dogpool and more.
