Speaking on his podcast The Escape Pod, he argued that Marvel should take notes from DC’s current approach, which favors balance and intimacy over extremes. His remarks landed like a comic-con mic drop, igniting fandoms into another round of heated debate.

Coy Jandreau compared the current chaos to comic book history itself, trading the wild Golden Age for the layered Silver Age. To him, superhero films now teeter on a pivot point, where Marvel could reclaim glory by borrowing DC’s steadier rhythm.
