An original Chandler Bing collectible once possessed by Matthew Perry from an iconic scene from 'Friends' is up for grabs.

Days After Matthew Perry Was Laid to Rest, an “Original” Chandler Bing Outfit From ‘Friends’ Is on Sale

On one quaint day in October, it all fell eerily silent. Sounds of sirens and
curiosity soon took over the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles. The
news finally broke out, and it was that the world of entertainment had lost one
of its sweetest songbirds. Matthew Perry, the iconic wisecracking and sarcastic
pop culture definer from Friends, passed away at the age of 54. A sheer aura of
gloom swept over as the actor echoed in memories of scenes from the hit sitcom.
In the days following his heavenly departure, Friends once again took center
stage as media companies and individuals came forward with their own moving
tributes.

In the meantime, several memorable moments as well as memorabilia from the
timeless NBC sitcom also started showing up and some can even fit into a fan’s
closet.

AN ICONIC CHANDLER BING COLLECTIBLE FROM FRIENDS IS UP FOR GRABS

In the ten years that Friends aired, it boasted a popularity and viewership
uptick that only kept rising up the charts. A 2019 statistic pegged total
watch-time for the show, only on Netflix at 54.3 million hours. The staggering
feat undoubtedly had Matthew Perry and his Chandler Bing outing play the part.
In his remembrance, an eBay listing offers
[https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/204443177048] his worn “dark wool shirt jacket with
geometric design and a pair of blue jeans” for the cost of $8,400.

The actor wore the outfit in the fourteenth episode of season one, The One With
the Candy Hearts. Additionally, the seller has also attached a sketch print from
the show detailing its authenticity. The “good screen worn condition”
memorabilia is one too hard to pass on for die-hard fans of the actor wishing
for a testament to his legacy. Matthew Perry, the youngest among the core cast,
usually took to shirts and jackets for his dressings as Chandler Bing.

In the weeks following his passing, the world of entertainment came down in
unison to thank the actor for his contributions.

VH1 AIRED A SPECIAL TRIBUTE FOLLOWED BY THE REMAINING CORE CAST TO MATTHEW PERRY

The effervescent actor was on the road to sobriety

when fate called his time. A victim of a severe opioid addiction, Perry never
let it get in the way of his impeccable performance on Friends. Although there
were telltale signs throughout different seasons owing to drastic changes in his
stature. To pay homage to that selfless dedication, VH1 alongside Entertainment
Tonight aired a special, Matthew Perry: Life and Legacy, on November 7. Filled
with never-before-seen snippets and interviews, a non-stop Friends marathon
preceded it as a countdown.

Soon after he was at rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, the
Friends cast released their individual tributes to the late soul. In perfect
order of relevance to the character on the show

the heartfelt messages laid bare the love for “Matty”. Additionally, Janice
actress, Maggie Wheeler, also released another statement succeeding the core
cast in remembrance.
