During a recent Emmys FYC (For Your Consideration) panel at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, David Harbour reunited with several of his longtime co-stars, including Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Reflecting on the beginning of the series, the actor spoke warmly about the atmosphere surrounding the production and the bond shared among the cast members.

“That first season is a magical experience in my mind. I am so happy they were here celebrating the final season which to me almost transcends character,” Harbour said during the panel.

He explained that much of that feeling came from the younger cast members, whose natural chemistry and carefree personalities brought an authenticity that stood out immediately. According to Harbour, the child actors never behaved like performers trying to impress anyone; they simply acted like kids, and that honesty became one of the show’s greatest strengths.

David Harbour joins the John Rambo prequel in a major role

David Harbour has officially joined the cast of the upcoming John Rambo prequel, according to Variety. The actor will portray Major Trautman, the commanding officer and mentor who played a defining role in Rambo’s military journey. Harbour joins Noah Centineo, who is set to star as the younger version of the iconic soldier originally portrayed by Sylvester Stallone.

The film will be directed by Jalmari Helander, best known for Sisu, and will reportedly explore Rambo’s Vietnam War years before the events of First Blood. The story is expected to focus on the experiences and trauma that eventually shaped the hardened warrior audiences came to know throughout the franchise.
