Sabara and PeñaVega shared their personal accounts and recollections from the movie, recalling how practical props and stunts became one of their fondest moments on the movie. PeñaVega also walked viewers through a break-dance room they had on set for all the kids to have unhinged fun. The duo shared an emotional exchange reflecting on the impact of each other in their respective lives.

"We really are brother and sister. Our lives kind of oddly mirror each other in a weird way. We both have three kids. We're both married to pop stars. We didn't plan this. We didn't talk about it. It just kind of happened that way. [...] Every time in parenthood and every time we talk it feels like it feels like yesterday," Sabara and PeñaVega told Countdown City Geeks at the 25th anniversary event of the movie.

The reunion also served as a reminder of how much the film meant to a generation and how the actors have maintained their friendship throughout the years.
