The warped world of Dark Matter is opening its doors again this year. And Jason Dessen is nowhere close to escaping the nightmare that began when he was thrown into an alternative world. The first season of the Apple TV series premiered in 2024, pulling viewers into a mind-bending web of parallel alternate lives.

Now, more than a year after the first season, the show is returning for Season 2. And it seems that Dark Matter’s world will get more complicated, pulling in both familiar and new names. Before it does, here is everything to know about who is returning for Season 2.

The first season followed a physicist, Jason, whose life is turned upside down when he is abducted and thrown into an alternate reality.

As he witnesses different versions of his life, Jason desperately fights his way through the multiverse to return to Daniela and Charlie. While there is much anticipation around the release date, fans are even more curious about what Season 2 has in store.
