Daniel Radcliffe briefly returned to the Harry Potter game and ranked all eight films in a face-off while speaking to Jack Horowitz on Happy Sad Confused back in April, revealing his favorite from the franchise. He made some surprising choices before finally settling on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 as his favorite. His second favorite was Goblet of Fire, he said, adding it was one of the films he most enjoyed working on.
“Deathly Hallows- Part 2. I would take Chamber of Secrets. I love the Basilisk. I would say Goblet of Fire. Order of the Phoenix and Goblet of Fire. I don't think I knew that Goblet of Fire would have been my second-favorite film,” Radcliffe admitted, revealing several unexpected picks before naming Goblet of Fire as his second-favorite movie.
Radcliffe said he chose Chamber of Secrets over Sorcerer’s Stone because he loved the Basilisk scene. Then he shocked many by choosing Goblet of Fire over the fan favorite Prisoner of Azkaban, saying he loved the work he got to do in the fourth film. As the bracket progressed, Goblet of Fire became his second-favorite Harry Potter movie overall.
While his rankings reflected his favorite installments, they also highlighted the remarkable journey he experienced as the face of the Wizarding World.
