Cowboys & Aliens originally debuted in theaters in 2011 following the world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con and to date remains one of Hollywood's top hybrid films, despite poor critical acclaim. The movie will now stream on Starz in the US from February 1, 2026, which makes it simpler for viewers to access the film.

Daniel Craig stars as the amnesiac gunslinger Jake Lonergan, who arrives in the frontier town of Absolution with an alien bracelet attached to his wrist and no memory of his past. Harrison Ford plays Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde, a strong cattleman, and Olivia Wilde portrays Ella Swenson, an outlaw who hides her knowledge about the alien threat from others.

The cast also includes Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, and Noah Ringer as part of the rag-tag group that bands together to take on the invaders. Additionally, Keith Carradine as Sheriff John Taggart, Clancy Brown as Meacham, Absolution's preacher, Walton Goggins as Hunt, a bandit friend of Lonergan, Abigail Spencer as Alice Wills, Jake's lost love, Ana de la Reguera, Raoul Trujillo, David O'Hara, Wyatt Russell, and more round out the cast where gunslingers meet UFOs.
