The film that Warner Bros. Discovery previously determined was more valuable as a tax write-off than a theatrical distribution recently made its Rotten Tomatoes debut with a flawless score. Those who have been tracking Coyote vs. Acme's development might recall that it began as a Warner Bros. Pictures project prior to the studio shelving it. Ketchup Entertainment intervened at the right time and acquired the distribution rights that gave new life to the project.

Now, the movie has managed to impress the critics, and the perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is the film’s reward for this arduous journey to the theaters.

With just 16 days until its August 28 premiere, the Looney Tunes legal comedy now has a perfect Tomatometer score. As of this writing, all 20 of the reviews for Coyote vs. Acme are Fresh. After Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt, this is the third film buried under David Zaslav that WBD shelved in November 2023 for a tax write-off, prior to a purported $50 million sale to Ketchup Entertainment due to widespread online pushback from fans.

According to early reviews, Looney Tunes' most recent slapstick comedy is a huge hit. The live-action/animated courtroom comedy launched with an incredible 100% Rotten Tomatoes score, suggesting Warner Bros. may have seriously miscalculated its potential. Despite his lack of success in capturing the Road Runner, it appears that Wile E. Coyote has won over reviewers' hearts with this victorious cinematic return.

With the tagline, "The Film Acme Didn't Want You to See," Ketchup's trailer made a clever attempt at using the controversy surrounding its release as a marketing weapon. The remaining publicity for them is now being handled by the reviews. Early evaluations are not just favorable. Coyote vs. Acme is being ranked by several critics as one of Hollywood's greatest live-action/animated comedies.

The talent attached to the movie and the plot it follows are what make this film so unique and lovable.

Will Forte, who plays Wile E. Coyote's attorney, Kevin Avery, and John Cena, who plays Buddy Crane, the attorney for the Acme Corporation, are just a few of the well-known names in Coyote vs. Acme. In addition to the live-action characters, filmmaker Dave Green has previously stated that other Looney Tunes characters, such as Tweety, Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, and Foghorn Leghorn, will make cameos and supporting roles. Several of these icons will be voiced by veteran Looney Tunes actor Eric Bauza.

Coyote pairs up with a struggling lawyer (played by Forte) to sue Acme Corporation, the company that makes the malfunctioning devices, after decades of trying to apprehend the Road Runner. The story is wacky, and so is the casting, and it seems that both worked phenomenally in the movie's favor. Furthermore, the perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is a reminder for big production houses to never underestimate the potential of a film.
