One of the biggest nights in Hollywood is here, bringing together some of the industry’s most dazzling and influential power players. This annual gathering is a crucial meeting center for actors, cinema owners, studio executives, streaming platform representatives, and journalists. From James Cameron to Noah Centineo, several notable names will be in attendance at CinemaCon 2026, which is set to be held in Las Vegas. 

Ahead of the upcoming event, here is everything you need to know about the date and time. 

CinemaCon 2026 is all set to take place at the Dolby Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, with the main event scheduled for April 16. The convention will run for four days, from April 13 to 16, starting at 7:30 AM on all days. Several major titles, including Dune: Part Three, Supergirl, The Odyssey, and the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, are expected to be featured at the star-studded event.

Universal Pictures, Focus Features, and Amazon MGM Studios will take the stage for their presentations on April 15, 2026. The following day, April 16, Paramount and Walt Disney Studios will show their highly anticipated highlights. One of the major attractions of the day will be the Big Screen Achievement Awards. 

Presented by CinemaCon in partnership with Coca-Cola, the event will be hosted by Entertainment Tonight star Nischelle Turner. She takes over hosting duties from Kevin Frazier, who previously helmed the ceremony. The awards are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM at the Dolby Colosseum, as per the official CinemaCon 2026 website.

Several big names, such as James Cameron, will be honored at the event.

The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards will celebrate some of the biggest names and talents in the film industry. Honors this year include major recognition for James Cameron, who made a massive success with his Avatar movies. and Queen Latifah. Noah Centineo, Catherine Lagaʻaia, Adam Scott, and Zoey Deutch will also be recognized. 

Wrapping up the night, LaKeith Stanfield takes home Star of the Year, rounding off a celebration of standout performances across the industry. This event comes at a time when the industry is clearly undergoing a major shift, with large companies and studios merging. One such example is David Ellison’s move to buy Warner Bros., after already acquiring Paramount Pictures. Clearly, CinemaCon's tension and excitement have been carried safely into 2026.
