The family has only spoken through its representative, Allie Jenkins, who gave a statement to CBS.
"The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time," Jenkins said. While the cause of death remains unconfirmed, Presley Gerber and his family had spoken about his struggles with mental health.
The 27-year old model had in recent years become very open about his mental health struggles and his will to help others out.

Being Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber's son, despite their private nature, Presley Gerber had always found himself in the spotlight. To further increase the glare, Gerber also became a model for well-known brands such as Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, and Bottega Veneta. However, the model refused just to be another face on the poster as he candidly spoke about his mental health struggles whenever he got the chance.
"I think that whether I help one person or a hundred people get out of that place that I was in at one point in my life, that's all I need to do," Presley Gerber said in 2023 during a Studio 22 podcast.

What hits closer to home is the fact that just in last month's American Vogue, Kaia Gerber spoke about her brother and his struggles with addiction, praising the vulnerability that he brings to the table.
